3. Appointments and Cancellation Policy
By booking an appointment online, by phone, or in person, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions, including our cancellation policy.
We value your time and ours. To ensure we can provide care to all patients, we have implemented the following policy in line with industry standards:
Notice Period: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for the cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment.
Late Cancellations: Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the consultation fee.
Non-Attendance: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice may result in a "No-Show" fee of 50% of the cancelled consultation fee.
Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to ensure the practitioner can stay on schedule for following patients. The full consultation fee will still apply.
4. Fees and Payments
Payment Timing: Payment is required in full at the time of consultation.
Payment Methods: We accept cash, EFTPOS, and major credit cards.
Rebates: While we provide HICAPS facilities for on-the-spot Private Health Insurance claims, the patient is responsible for the "gap" payment. If the HICAPS system is offline, the patient must pay in full and claim the rebate from their provider manually.
Third-Party Claims: For WorkSafe, DVA, or Medicare (CDM) claims, patients must provide all necessary paperwork and GP referrals at the time of the first visit. Please note that a gap fee applies to Medicare claims and may apply to WorkSafe and TAC claims.
Fees paid for consultations are non-refundable, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
5. Informed Consent
During your initial consultation, your practitioner will perform a clinical assessment and discuss their findings with you.
Treatment will only proceed with your informed consent.
You have the right to withdraw consent or stop treatment at any time.
Your practitioner will explain the risks and benefits associated with specific techniques, such as spinal manipulation, general osteopathic treatment or dry needling, as part of the clinical sequence.
Patients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for providing informed consent on their behalf.

Your privacy is important to us. The collection and management of your personal and health information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is compliant with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic).
