  • We offer Dry Needling as a powerful adjunct to our manual therapy. Unlike acupuncture, which is based on traditional Chinese medicine, Dry Needling is a Western, evidence-based approach used to treat musculoskeletal pain and movement impairments.

    • How it works: We use fine, sterile needles to target specific or problematic areas of muscle.

    • The Benefit: Amongst other things research shows that needling increased local blood flow and can help "wash out" inflammatory chemicals (such as substance P and cytokines) that accumulate in “tight” or painful tissues.
